What a pleasure to stumble upon your site. I was googling Open Space Technology looking for ideas for the format of an activist mentorship talk. The plan is to bring some local youth activists of today into a conversation with older activists who were also youth activists in the 60s. I'm running an event throwing/awareness-raisiing/sometimes-fundraising/inter-active dance party company called Nudge.

The idea is to bring people together in celebration, expose them to each others ideas and enable their creative contribution to the flow of the night. We are networking innovators of resilient systems and dancing all night to live funk and DJs. A family vibration and invitation, transgenerational, create a space for community to Nudge forward towards a conscious cultural evolution.

I think we will explore Open Space Technology for our parties too. Even though we have been engaging in similar intentions and practices, the richness here is too good to miss.

To Patricia Haines: ARTS AT THE HEART OF A SUSTAINABLE WORLD is at the center of the Nudge concept. Nurturing resilient systems is an art. Change must be inspired by the voices of the creators. I would love to hear more and intend to google this title.

Thank you both.

I came across your site while researching who is doing and saying what in the arena of 'green' art - and I'd like to get in touch with you. Can you send me an email address?

I'm coordinating a global initiative to link the arts with sustainable development - ARTS AT THE HEART OF A SUSTAINABLE WORLD - which grew out of an Open Space gathering in Raleigh, NC in March '06, convened by the US Partnership for the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.

Your own work, and the Continental Harmony OST conversation that your blog led me to, are close to what Arts at the Heart is all about. I'd like very much to learn more about you, your work, and your thinking - and to invite you to join a gathering in Ithaca, NY on April 25 & 26 that combines informal panel discussions with an Open Space to generate action plans for local/regional (NYS) and global (Arts at the Heart, now hosted by Earth Charter USA) next steps.

I look forward very much to hearing from you.
