		<description>The reason why the Dalai Lama and those who share a similar kind of attitude don't hesitate in saying that they are happy is that they have overcome the temptation to think of happiness as a visceral feeling. I've been working on this topic, googling, reading blogs, books, whatever, and the thought that happiness must be some kind of detectable feeling is pervasive.

But if that's all happiness is, then we should just have a couple extra glasses of champagne at the New Year's Eve party...and let the bubbly make us happy.</description>
