Arlene, you've done it again -- taken a complex, new, alarming matter that has thrown me into a state of obfuscation, ever hopeless, and you come to the rescue with a clear delineation of what I am seeing and experiencing and where I can grasp onto a lifeline of hope again.

Now, I would be impressed enough if you did this once every year or two, but how can one human being write so profoundly and so clearly so often?

You are a wonder, and no reason yours remain one of the few blogs I regularly follow for any length of time.

A fascinating big-picture take-a-step-back analysis, Arlene. Thank you. I've shared it around. I hope the Dems and Obama campaign take up some of your suggestions.
