The corporations and the our-main-goal-is-that-Obama-fail Republicans have apparently won on an issue where the losers are pretty much the whole American population. Your suggestions don't help me much in this moment. I feel certain, almost more so than during W's reign, that I am 100% helpless when it comes to influencing the public process of government. Maybe you came of age in a time when it was possible for people to matter. It's clear to me, that we don't.
